We are excited to announce the publication of the latest Thematic Issue of papers from FEMS Microbiology Letters on Educating in a Pandemic and Beyond.

The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted many things – including education. However, educators made a commitment to continue ensuring students can learn and achieve. This resulted in the development of innovative approaches which previously faced hesitation.

FEMS Microbiology Letters has compiled a collection of articles highlighting this rapid emergency response. From enhancing student engagement to adopting digital learning, this Thematic Issue illustrates the evolution of microbiology education in the face of a global emergency.
