FEMS-ASM Mäkelä-Cassell Awardee 2023: Paul Solis-Reyes

We are pleased to announce that the FEMS-ASM Mäkelä Cassell Award has been granted to Paul Solis-Reyes, Western University, London (Canada). He was awarded for his abstract on The Role Of I203M And I208L On Raltegravir Resistance In Ugandan HIV-1.

The FEMS-ASM Mäkelä Cassell Award has been designed to benefit early career scientists from both organizations by giving them the opportunity to present their work overseas and experience the best of microbiology in the partner country.

He presented his abstract at FEMS2023 in Hamburg (Germany) in a Flash Presentation Session on Virology on Monday 10th July 2023.
