FEMS Journals hand Article Awards to two EAM members

The FEMS Journals have announced the winners of  their 2021 Article Awards. We are extremely happy to share that two of these articles have co-authors that are members of our academy! Our congratulations to Bruno Lemaitre and Julian Parkhill!

The selection of the best articles published in 2021 was carried out by the Editors-in-Chief and Editorial Boards of each journal, and the winning articles received an award of €1,000 which is split equally between all the authors.

Dr Bruno LemaitreBruno Lemaitre was co-author in the best microLife article for 2021 “The iron transporter Transferrin 1 mediates homeostasis of the endosymbiotic relationship between Drosophila melanogaster and Spiroplasma poulsonii”.
