The application for the FEMS Summer School on Microbiology Education 2021 is now open! Apply and get the chance to spend a week with your peers learning about the latest technologies and approaches in teaching microbiology.

FEMS invites teachers of undergraduate and postgraduate level microbiology from across Europe to attend the School. Applicants do not need to belong to a FEMS member society. The FEMS Summer School will equip attendees with a knowledge of new strategies and techniques in facilitating learning and engaging audiences through practical examples.

Programme
The Summer School programme includes lectures and workshops on innovative approaches to microbiology teaching, new practical work protocols in Microbiology education or how you can best design a learning process to enhance your students’ performance. FEMS Grants
Up to 5 attendees will receive complimentary registration and support of up to EUR 500 towards travel costs. All applicants are eligible for this support and interest can be indicated in the application form.
