Today is International Women’s Day, which is a global celebration of the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.

This year, the theme #BeBoldForChange encourages everyone to play a part in helping drive better outcomes for women.

We are joining this celebration by highlighting the amazing contribution women are making in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM), with a focus on those contributing to microbiological research around the world.
