In memoriam: Dieter Haas

Professor Dieter Haas, former FEMS Microbiology Reviews Editor-in-Chief, passed away on Saturday 22nd April. He will be missed, not only for his work on Pseudomonas, but also for his memorable contribution to Reviews in his years as Editor-in-Chief. He was also a past President and FEMS representative of the Swiss Society for Microbiology. His remarkable and charismatic personality will be keenly missed. The Department of Fundamental Microbiology at the University of Lausanne has published an In Memoriam in his honor which you can read here .
