After 22 months, the Croatian Microbiological Society has finished the project “In the society of microbes” with its seven partners from three Croatian universities and two NGOs.

The aim was to contribute to the introduction, development, improvement and sustainability of service learning, as a part of the academical learning.

This was the first service learning project in microbiology in Croatia co-financed by the European Social Fund. It engaged more than sixty university students, professors, volunteers and educators. Find out more about the project.
